Weak acid and base equilibria
Examine equilibrium systems involving weak acids and bases. Use ICE tables and Ka or Kb values to calculate pH and determine relative acid or base strength. Apply Le Châtelier’s Principle to predict changes in concentration. Evaluate percent ionization to compare dissociation of weak species.
