Enthalpy of formation

Define standard enthalpy of formation (ΔH°f) as the enthalpy change for producing 1 mol of a compound from its elements in their standard states. Use tabulated ΔH°f values to compute reaction enthalpy. Justify results by comparing calculated values to experimental calorimetry where appropriate.
