Friction and resistive forces

Learn about static and kinetic friction, investigate factors that affect the magnitude of friction forces using measurements, and analyze data to determine a mathematical model for friction. Practice applying this model to scenarios involving inclines and multiple-object systems. Apply Newton's second law to an object experiencing a resistive (drag) force and use calculus to solve for the object's velocity, acceleration, and position as functions of time.
